12 to 18 months recommended for normal maintenance

6 months for high traffic areas, pets, or children 

• Use a can of compressed air and then vacuum surrounding area with an attachment
• This is a great tool to get to hard to reach areas

Carpet Type: Synthetic 

• Vacuuming:To get all of the dirt completely out of the carpet you will need to make several passes each going in a different direction.  Make sure that you have your vacuum set at the right height.  If you see anything that isn't coming up - spray some warm water on it and blot with a white cloth until it comes clean.                                
• Cleaning: If your carpets need a deeper cleaning, and it isn't time to call a professional you can use a home extraction machine. You can rent one or purchase one. Make sure you use fans or turn on your air-conditioner to help carpets dry.  Home carpet cleaning machines don't usually suck up the water very well. 

Carpet Type: Wool

• Vacuuming: Same guidelines as with Synthetic carpet above. You are going to want to make sure your vacuum is set at the appropriate height your you may end up with a fuzzy carpet. 
  
• Cleaning: We really don't recommend home cleaning with wool carpets. Wool absorbs a lot of water. Home machines are not powerful enough to suck up all of the moisture.  Also, the cleaning products that are available for carpets are too harsh for wool carpets and area rugs.  ing services for our customers. During service we recommend that you do keep your pet somewhere they will be comfortable — not all of our furry friends like the sound of vacuums or unfamiliar people in their space. Let us know how you'd like to handle your pet ahead of time to keep them safe and happy.
